Gardzień, Mountain summit in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland.
Rising 556 meters above sea level, Gardzień stands within the Obniżenie Ścinawki region of the Sudetes mountain range between Gajów and Tłumaczów villages.
The mountain has undergone substantial changes since 2010 with the establishment of melaphyre quarries on both eastern and western slopes for construction materials.
Gardzień belongs to the Korona Sudetów Polskich, a collection of 31 prominent peaks across the Polish section of the Sudetes mountain range.
Access to the summit requires careful navigation around active quarry operations, with mining activities and occasional controlled explosions affecting visitability.
The summit provides views of multiple mountain ranges, including the Śnieżka massif, Śnieżnik peak, and the Kłodzka Valley through restored railway connections.
