Ścinawka Średnia Castle

The castle features a massive residential tower with dimensions of 12.5 by 16 meters, making it the largest such structure in the Kłodzko region.

Construction of the castle began in 1353 under Tammo II von Czechau, starting with the central keep that formed the foundation of the entire structure.

The interior contains Gothic fireplaces, Renaissance portals, and stone vaults from the 14th century, alongside wall paintings with floral decorations.

Visitors need to schedule their tours in advance by phone, as the castle owners personally guide guests through the historical premises.

The castle includes a freestanding kitchen from the early 16th century with a combined oven-chimney-smokehouse system that operated without lifting mechanisms.
