Kręgi Kamienne Nature Reserve

The reserve contains ten complete stone circles and two fragments within a pine forest, featuring stones that protrude from the earth between 20 to 70 centimeters.

The site functioned as a Gothic cemetery during the first and second centuries AD, with archaeological excavations revealing over 600 burials containing Roman ceramics.

The stone circles range from 15 to 33 meters in diameter, each containing between 16 and 29 stones arranged in circular patterns according to Gothic burial traditions.

Visitors can explore marked trails throughout the 16.91-hectare reserve, which includes information boards explaining the archaeological and natural features of the site.

The reserve houses 40 lichen species and 6 moss species, including mountain varieties typically not found in lowland areas, growing on the ancient stones.
