Nature reserve Lasy w Dolinie Strzyży

The reserve encompasses 38.52 hectares of protected land along the Strzyża stream, featuring nutrient-rich deciduous forests with oak and ash trees.

Established in 2007, this area evolved from a nature-landscape complex created in 2001 that initially covered 381 hectares of protected territory.

The reserve functions as an educational center where students and researchers study the diverse ecosystem containing 185 documented vascular plant species.

Visitors can access the reserve through marked trails connecting to the Kartuski and Skarszewski tourist routes while following conservation guidelines.

The protected area contains mountain plant species growing at unusually low elevations, creating an unexpected biological environment in northern Poland.
