Schronisko na Turbaczu

Schronisko na Turbaczu is a mountain lodge situated at a central junction of hiking trails in the Gorce Mountains. The facility houses around 110 beds arranged in various room types, from doubles to larger dormitory-style spaces, plus a separate apartment.

The shelter was designed by architect Anna Górska as a project of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society. It became a key base for mountain activities in the Gorce region.

The lodge restaurant serves regional Polish dishes and acts as a gathering place where hikers from across the region meet and exchange stories about local trails. The setting encourages visitors to connect with each other over shared meals and mountain experiences.

The lodge is best reached on foot via hiking trails that wind through the forest. Visitors should bring sturdy footwear and prepare for changing mountain weather conditions.

The lodge provides accessibility features that allow visitors with disabilities to experience mountain stays. This inclusive approach sets it apart from other mountain accommodations in the area.
