Open-air museum of Pilica river

The museum extends along the riverside with exhibits including historical water mills, military vehicles, and traditional buildings displaying regional heritage of central Poland.

Established in 2000 as Poland's first heritage park dedicated to a river, the museum originated from initiatives by the Association of Pilica's Friends in 1997.

The museum houses Poland's largest collection of millstones, featuring over 30 specimens that demonstrate the evolution of flour production methods in the region.

Located near the Blue Springs nature reserve, the museum presents both indoor and outdoor exhibitions, with detailed information available through guided tours.

The museum displays a German prototype vehicle Sd.Kfz. 8 DB 10 recovered from the river, where it sank during a crossing attempt in January 1945.
