Hunting Lodge in Promnice

The hunting lodge in Promnice is a wooden three-story manor house with brick walls and decorative Swiss-style details. It sits on elevated ground above a lake and combines hunting lodge design with the residential comfort of a country estate.

Construction began in 1861 under architect Olivier Pavelt for the Hochberg family. A fire in 1867 led to its reconstruction the following year, after which the building became part of the region's architectural heritage.

A statue of Saint Hubert with a deer stands in the courtyard. The sculpture was modeled after one of the Hochberg family members and commemorates the hunting traditions central to the estate's purpose.
