The Źródło Marii chapel stands near a natural spring source in the Oliwa Forests, featuring a white statue of the Virgin Mary above a water fountain.

Railway workers constructed the first chapel in 1922 after their survival from a detached wagon incident during the Kokoszki-Gdynia railway line construction.

The chapel holds regular Tuesday services in Kashubian language during May, with special masses celebrated on May 3rd and August 15th each year.

Two marked hiking trails, the yellow Tricity Trail and black Źródło Marii Trail, connect at the chapel site, which includes benches and parking spaces.

The spring water flows from 80 meters underground through a constructed intake system, allowing visitors to collect water from the fountain at the chapel base.
