Łódź Bajkowa

Łódź Bajkowa is a walking trail with ten bronze statues of animated characters created by the Se-ma-for studio, scattered throughout the city center. The route connects different neighborhoods and landmarks, letting you move between these sculptures at your own pace.

The trail started in 2009 when the Teddy Bear Uszatek statue was placed on Piotrkowska Street, honoring the city's film legacy. More figures were added over time to celebrate Se-ma-for studio's role in Polish animation.

The statues stand at locations connected to the film world, showing how animation shaped the city's cultural identity over the decades. Walking past them lets you see which filmmaking traditions locals value and remember most.

A dedicated map helps you locate each statue and plan your walking route through the city. You can visit the statues in any order that suits your schedule and interests.

The Teddy Bear Uszatek was the first statue installed and remains on busy Piotrkowska Street, the city's main shopping and cultural hub. This central location makes it a natural starting point for exploring the whole trail.
