Fabryka Towarzystwa Białostockiej Manufaktury „E.Becker i s-ka”, Former textile factory palace in Białystok, Poland.

The former textile machinery factory at Świętojańska Street 15A is an administrative building with French neo-Renaissance architecture and a distinctive corner rotunda. The complex now houses the Alfa Shopping Center while retaining original architectural elements from its industrial past.

The silk plush factory was established between 1895 and 1911 by Eugeniusz Becker and became an important production center. It was damaged during World War Two by German forces, then renamed and repurposed under subsequent occupation regimes.

The building reflects Białystok's transformation into an industrial city during the early twentieth century, when manufacturing became central to local identity. Its preserved design shows how industrial facilities once shaped the city's character and economy.

The shopping center in this building is easy to find and invites exploration of the exterior facade and preserved architectural details. The best time to visit is during business hours when the interior is accessible and you can compare the historical elements with modern commercial use.

The building carried different names through various political periods - starting as a private factory, then becoming Państwowa Fabryka Pluszu under Soviet administration, and Pluschfabrik under German occupation. These changing names trace the site's journey through the region's tumultuous history.
