Church of the Pokrov in Hańczowa

The wooden Church of the Pokrov in Hańczowa consists of three sections with timber-framed construction, featuring a nave, presbytery with vestry, and a tower with porch. The entire building is enclosed by a 19th-century wooden fence that defines the sacred grounds.

The structure was built in 1644 and shifted between different Christian traditions over time, moving from Greek Catholic practice to Orthodox use. By 1958, it became firmly established as an Orthodox place of worship for the returning community.
