Jaroszowicka Góra, Mountain summit in Mały Beskid, Poland
Jaroszowicka Góra is a mountain summit in the Mały Beskid range, standing at 541 meters on the right bank of the Skawa River. Four distinct peaks form the mountain, each covered with fir and spruce forests that give it a forested appearance.
This mountain has been part of the local landscape for centuries, with communities nearby developing around the river valleys since medieval times. The construction of the Świnna Poręba dam in the 20th century reshaped the geography and isolated this peak from the main Beskid Mały ridge.
The mountain serves as a focal point for outdoor recreation in the Wadowice County, connecting local communities through shared natural spaces and hiking activities.
Marked hiking trails lead to the summit from Wadowice via Gorzeń Górny or from Klecza Górna through Jaroszowice. Spring through autumn offers the best conditions, as the paths are dry and easier to navigate.
At the base of the mountain lie the Jaroszowickie Skały, notable rock formations that attract climbers and boulderers from the surrounding area. These rocks have become a well-known spot for sport climbing activities over the past several decades.
