Hala Lipowska

Hala Lipowska is a mountain lodge and hiking hub in the Beskids at about 1324 meters elevation, connecting multiple routes through the region. The facility serves as a base for hikers exploring the surrounding peaks and valleys.

The lodge was founded in 1969 and has continuously housed climbers and hikers since then. Over the decades, it has become a reliable stopping point for people crossing the Beskids.

The mountain lodge serves dishes based on old highland recipes using products from the region, reflecting the food culture of the Beskids. Visitors can taste traditional local meals that have been prepared according to inherited methods for generations.

You can reach the place via marked trails from eight surrounding villages, with the yellow route from Rajcza PKP taking about three and a half hours. Access is possible year-round, but visitors should prepare for changeable mountain weather conditions.

The place offers a luggage transport service along the black Złatna-Huta route, allowing hikers to trek without carrying heavy equipment. This service makes longer hikes considerably more comfortable and lets visitors focus on the terrain.
