Jawornik Wielki

Jauersberg is a mountain summit in the Golden Mountains that rises approximately 872 meters above sea level. The slopes are covered with mixed forests that remain dense throughout the seasons.

The mountain has roots in the mining era, with old tunnels and shafts tracing back to the middle ages when people extracted gold from the slopes. This past shaped the landscape and speaks to centuries of human activity in the area.

The summit serves as a gathering place for hikers and mountain lovers, especially thanks to the wooden observation tower that stands there since 2009. People use this location to meet and take in views of the surrounding ranges.

The hiking trail to the summit begins in Złoty Stok and covers about 13 kilometers with several rest points marked along the way. The marked route is easy to follow and offers regular spots to pause and catch your breath.

The observation platforms at different heights offer varying views of the surrounding landscape, allowing visitors to experience different perspectives depending on elevation. This layered view makes the location especially interesting for those wanting to explore multiple angles of the mountain ranges.
