Fire station Warsaw-Wola, Fire station in Wola, Poland.
Fire station Warsaw-Wola is a building located at 3 Chłodna Street that displays typical features of administrative structures from the 18th century. The facade shows classical architectural elements characteristic of that period.
The building was erected in 1730 under architect Joachim Daniel von Jauch and represented one of the early organized fire protection facilities in Warsaw. Later it was recognized as an immovable monument in 1965.
The fire station has long served as a focal point for the neighborhood, showing how the city organized its public services. You can still see today how such buildings shaped daily life in this district.
The building is located near Chłodna Street and is easily accessible on foot from the central axis of Wola district. The area is well connected by public transport.
The building retained its original exterior facade while adapting to the modern demands of today's city operations. This makes it an interesting example of preserving historical structures in an evolving city.
