Kościół Świętych Apostołów Szymona i Judy Tadeusza w Łętowni

The Saints Simon and Jude Thaddeus Church is a wooden structure with vertical wooden planks forming its walls, a Latin cross floor plan, and gabled roofs covered with wooden shingles. The building shows the typical construction style of rural wooden churches from this period.

The building was constructed between 1760 and 1765 and was funded through resources from Barbara Lisicka of the Janiccy family, who owned both local villages at that time. The church was built during a period of active rural church construction in the region.

The church displays late Baroque artwork from the 18th century inside, including ornate altars and religious paintings. Visitors can see the detailed decorations and craftsmanship of these artworks in their original setting.

The church is normally accessible during religious services held on weekends, which offers the best opportunity for a visit. Visitors should be prepared for basic facilities and wear appropriate clothing for a sacred space.

Inside are organs from the late 17th century along with original confessionals and a crucifix from the same period. These older objects provide insight into how churches were furnished during that era.
