Saint Michael Archangel and the Assumption of Mary church in Poznań, Religious monument in Kiekrz, Poland
The church features a prominent late Baroque tower reaching 31 meters high, with white facades visible from multiple locations across Poznań.
The original temple dates back to the 12th century, while the current structure was built between 1767 and 1770 through funding from Marianna Zakrzewska.
The church interior contains Rococo altars and a pulpit, along with a reproduction of Raphael Santi's painting depicting Michael the Archangel.
The church cemetery spans 1.6 hectares, containing 1,536 graves and 3,276 burials, with the parish office located at 41 Chojnicka Street.
Two brick burial vaults house remains of the Stock-Jesse family and the Przyłuski family, including parents of the Archbishop of Gniezno and Poznań.
