Jezioro Strzeszyńskie, Glacial lake in Poznan, Poland
Lake Strzeszynskie extends over 33.5 hectares with a maximum depth of 17.8 meters and features a 4.5-kilometer shoreline surrounded by forests.
The lake emerged during the last ice age through glacial processes, forming a characteristic channel shape that defines its current geological structure.
The Visual Park gallery near the beach displays outdoor art installations, including a monumental comic created by Professor Andrzej Bednarczyk.
The municipal beach accommodates 700 visitors and provides separate swimming zones for different skill levels, marked with colored buoys.
A wind-powered aerator installed in 2013 at the deepest point of the lake continuously improves water quality through natural circulation.
