Shelter of the Mayor of Poznań

The underground facility spans 500 square meters and contains original furnishings, communication equipment, maps, and administrative offices from the Communist era.

Built between 1950 and 1960, this nuclear shelter remained classified until 2000 and was designated as a command center for Poznań city officials.

The museum displays socialist-era posters divided into three thematic sections, reflecting the post-war reconstruction period and socio-economic propaganda.

Visitors can access the bunker every last weekend of the month, with guided tours available and school groups admitted every third Thursday.

The facility includes the president's sofa bed, vintage telephone switchboard, and air generators, preserved exactly as they were during the Cold War period.
