St. Michael Archangel's Church, Binarowa, Gothic wooden church in Binarowa, Poland.

St. Michael Archangel's Church in Binarowa is a Gothic wooden structure with a tall western tower, steep roofs, and outer walls sheltered by wide overhanging eaves. The interior houses a 19th-century 81-pipe organ and displays Gothic sculptures showing the craftsmanship of that era.

The church originated around 1500 and received its tower in 1596, showing how the community expanded its religious center over time. Between 1641 and 1650, significant expansions added the Guardian Angels chapel, creating more space as the community's needs grew.

The interior walls display extensive painted decorations from the 16th century showing biblical scenes and patterns that reflect the artistic program of the Counter-Reformation. These images served as a way for the community to express and understand their faith through visual storytelling.

The building is open to visitors during scheduled hours, and you should expect uneven historic wooden floors and limited modern facilities. It is advisable to wear appropriate clothing and keep in mind that this is an active place of worship where respectful behavior is expected during services.

The building houses a rare Gothic sculpture of Madonna with Child from 1380, one of the oldest artworks in the church. The medieval doors feature intricate floral patterns that show how local craftspeople expressed their skill through detailed work.
