Church of Saint Nicholas in Lublin

The Church of Saint Nicholas sits on Czwartek Hill and is a church building featuring a classicist facade. During the 19th century, a tower, porch, and belfry were added or renovated.

The site was already in use as a cemetery in the 11th century, as archaeological findings show. The current building was constructed there in the 16th century.

The statue of Saint Nicholas in the main altar shows Baroque features and comes from the late 18th century. It draws visitors' attention as a focal point inside the church.

The church is located at Księdza Michała Słowikowskiego 1 street in the northeastern part of Lublin. You can visit during regular services or pass by outside service times to view the exterior.

The oldest artwork inside is a wooden crucifix mounted on a rood beam. This cross has survived from the 17th century and has endured all renovation phases.
