Most w Połańcu, Road bridge in Połaniec, Poland
Most w Połańcu is a road bridge that spans 960 meters across the Vistula River, connecting two provinces. The structure is 15 meters wide and allows vehicles to travel directly between Świętokrzyskie and Podkarpackie.
The bridge was built in 2012, replacing a ferry service that residents had previously used to cross the river. The structure connects the two provinces directly and reduced travel time for residents crossing between them.
The bridge opening ceremony in November 2014 included representatives from both provinces and featured a Black Hawk helicopter demonstration over the structure.
The crossing is easily accessible by car and part of a main traffic route between the two regions. Visitors should expect traffic, especially during peak hours and on weekends.
The construction project cost 178 million Polish złoty, split equally between the Świętokrzyskie and Podkarpackie provinces, with support from European development funds.
