Muzeum Techniki Wojskowej w Zabrzu

Muzeum Techniki Wojskowej is a military technology museum in Zabrze that displays tanks, transporters, missile launchers, and aircraft outdoors and under cover. The collection includes both Soviet-era and Polish military equipment arranged in organized exhibition areas.

The museum was established in 2011 after inheriting equipment from the Mała Armia 'Grupa Śląsk' association, which had gathered Polish People's Army machinery over many years. That collection became the foundation of what visitors see today.

The collection reflects how Poland developed its military technology over decades through various influences and partnerships. Walking through, you notice machines that tell the story of different eras in Polish defense.

The museum is located on Sienkiewicza Street in Zabrze and is open Tuesday through Sunday. Wear comfortable shoes since you will walk through outdoor exhibition areas alongside covered sections.

Most of the vehicles in the collection remain in working condition through constant maintenance and restoration by the museum team. This upkeep allows occasional demonstrations where visitors actually see the machines operating.
