Muzeum w Bielsku-Białej - Willa Juliana Fałata

The Julian Fałat Villa Museum is housed in a private residence with eight rooms across two floors. The displays feature oil paintings, watercolors, personal objects from the artist, and rotating temporary exhibitions.

Painter Julian Fałat moved to this villa in 1910 after leaving his position as director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. The building was later converted into a museum to preserve his artistic legacy.

The collection displays hunting scenes, portraits, and landscapes that reflect the painter's artistic interests and vision. These works show how he saw and interpreted the world around him.

The museum operates as a branch of the Historical Museum in Bielsko-Biała and offers guided tours through the exhibitions. Since it is housed in a private residence, visitors should check opening hours in advance before planning a visit.

A preserved 1888 painting titled 'Hunting for a Bear with Cubs' depicts a winter hunting experience of the artist in the Polesie Forest. This work offers a personal glimpse into the painter's adventures and activities beyond his studio.
