Miejska Góra

Miejska Góra is a mountain peak reaching approximately 716 meters in elevation, located near Limanowa in southern Poland. The mountain is part of the Beskid Wyspowy range and features well-marked hiking trails throughout the area.

A steel Millennium Cross was erected on the summit in 1999 as a landmark. This monument became the defining feature of the peak and is visible from the valley below.

The peak serves as a focal point for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts from the surrounding region. Local residents and visitors regularly use the marked paths, making it a common meeting place for people seeking time in nature.

The walk to the summit takes about one hour along a trail starting from Limanowa park. Wear proper hiking boots, as the paths can become slippery in wet weather conditions.

On clear days, visitors can spot multiple distant mountain ranges from the summit, including Beskid Niski, Beskid Sądecki, Pieniny, and the Tatras. This panoramic view makes it a rewarding destination for nature observers.
