Muzeum Kanału "Dętka", Underground water reservoir museum at Plac Wolności, Łódź, Poland.

The museum features a 142-meter-long corridor made of red brick, measuring 1.5 meters wide and 187 centimeters high beneath the city center.

British engineer William Heerlein Lindley designed this oval rainwater tank in 1926, with Stefan Skrzywan supervising its construction for urban water management.

The museum represents Poland's first public sewer system open for tours, demonstrating the evolution of urban infrastructure development in industrial cities.

Visitors can access guided tours from May to September, Wednesday through Sunday, with the last entry at 18:15 and free admission every Wednesday.

The underground corridor holds 300 cubic meters of rainwater capacity and provides educational insights into historical urban engineering solutions.
