Muzeum Literackie Henryka Sienkiewicza, Literary museum on Old Market Square, Poznań, Poland.
The museum occupies a 16th-century townhouse and contains personal belongings, manuscripts, photographs, and medals related to writer Henryk Sienkiewicz's life and work.
Established in 1978 through collector Ignacy Moś's efforts, the museum preserves artifacts from the Nobel Prize-winning author in a building once owned by architect Giovanni Battista di Quadro.
The exhibition rooms recreate the interior style of the late 19th century, displaying period furniture and an extensive library with 4,500 volumes of translated works.
The museum opens Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 9:00 to 16:00, with extended summer hours and remains closed on Mondays and holidays.
The collection features the writer's death mask, a cast of his right hand, and a replica of the 1905 Nobel Prize medal for literature.
