Osada Rybacka

Osada Rybacka is a fishing settlement in the Oksywie district with residential buildings and harbor facilities on Puck Bay. A small port and economic structures define this coastal community.

The settlement developed as a fishing community and was later connected by a coastal railway that transported goods and people. This rail link shaped local life for decades.

Fishing remains the defining activity here, with boat owners and crew members who maintain practices passed down through generations. The waterfront shapes daily life and defines the community's identity.

The location is accessible by bus from central Gdynia and sits directly on the shoreline overlooking the bay. Walking through the area on foot is straightforward and offers free access to the harbor.

A rare cable railway rises steeply up the slope here, originally built to transport fish catches from boats to storage above. This system is one of only a few in the region and represents an unusual solution for moving cargo.
