Osiedle Stare Miasto is an administrative district in central Poznań covering an area of about 3.91 square kilometers with mixed urban development. The district functions as a municipal support unit responsible for coordinating local services and administrative matters for residents in this neighborhood.
This administrative unit was formally established through municipal resolutions in 2006 and 2010 that defined its governance role within Poznań's city structure. These decisions allowed for better coordination of local services at the neighborhood level.
