Park Miejski im. Stanisława Staszica w Pile, Municipal park in Piła, Poland
The Stanisław Staszic Municipal Park spans 11.63 hectares in western Piła, featuring a central pond, walking paths, and numerous native tree species.
Established in 1896 on former marshlands, the park began as Schützenpark and expanded significantly between 1927 and 1929, adding 4 additional hectares.
The park received its current name in 1955 to commemorate Stanisław Staszic, marked by the installation of his bronze bust created by sculptor Feliks Piątek.
The park includes children's playgrounds, summer yoga sessions, outdoor concert areas, and multiple entrance points from Chopina, Matejki, and Paderewskiego streets.
An Art Nouveau iron gazebo from 1904 stands near the central pond, accompanied by a replica of pre-war street lamps and decorative bridges.
