Srodula Park, Municipal park in Sosnowiec, Poland.
Srodula Park spans over 45 hectares including surrounding woodlands, with a main cultivated area of 10 hectares situated on a hillside reaching 295 meters above sea level and featuring an artificial ski slope that rises to 319.5 meters elevation.
The park was established in 1991 on land formerly occupied by a liquidated State Agricultural Farm, with initial tree planting and pathway development transforming the abandoned agricultural site into a recreational area for Sosnowiec residents.
The park serves as a venue for community events including the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity finale, New Year's Eve celebrations, summer open-air cinemas, and various sporting competitions that bring together residents throughout the year.
The park offers year-round access with parking facilities nearby, public transportation connections, pedestrian and cycling paths, outdoor fitness stations, a fenced dog run covering 2,340 square meters, and a children's playground with various amenities.
During winter months the park transforms into a skiing and snowboarding destination with an artificial slope constructed from approximately one million cubic meters of mining waste, while summer activities include mountain biking and Nordic walking.
