Pomnik spadochroniarzy pod Sokołowem, Concrete memorial near Sokołowo, Poland
The monument features a group of four figures with weapons, including one soldier folding a parachute canopy, located along Voivodeship road 182.
The memorial commemorates paratroopers of the Polish Independent Special Battalion who landed in this location on September 7, 1944 during World War II.
The monument includes a memorial plaque honoring Józef and Franciszka Furman, who were killed in concentration camps for helping the paratroopers.
The memorial stands in the Annogóra forestry area, near a solitary farm called Brzeg, directly accessible from the regional road 182.
In 2015, vandals damaged the monument by removing the heads of three soldier figures and completely removing the fourth figure.
