Przylasek Rusiecki, Recreation area in Nowa Huta district, Kraków, Poland
The area contains fourteen water reservoirs formed from former gravel pits, creating a natural environment for swimming and outdoor activities.
Established as a village in a deforested region belonging to Ruszcza in 1782, the area became part of Kraków on January 1, 1973.
The Educational Park Branice project includes plans for an open-air museum dedicated to preserving Western Krakowiak traditions and regional heritage.
Visitors can access modern facilities including parking spaces, beach equipment rentals, changing rooms, restrooms, playgrounds, and nearly one kilometer of piers.
The water reservoirs originated from a gravel quarry that supplied construction materials for building the Nowa Huta district over three decades.
