Rezerwat przyrody Gorzowskie Murawy

The Gorzowskie Murawy Nature Reserve covers 78.3 hectares of land, featuring sandy dunes, heathland, forests, and pine stands across rolling hills and valleys.

Prior to 1999, this natural area served as a military training ground for the 4th Nadwarciańska Engineer Brigade before its designation as a protected reserve in 2006.

The reserve represents one of Western Poland's most valuable grassland complexes, containing numerous protected plant species including feather grass and Siberian bellflower.

Visitors can explore the reserve through a 2-kilometer walking trail with an elevation change of 10 meters, making it necessary to bring proper walking shoes.

The steep southern slopes of the reserve support rare xerothermic vegetation communities, including the Potentillo-Stipetum capillatae grassland formation.
