Rezerwat przyrody Góra Świętej Anny

Góra Świętej Anny is a nature reserve in the Opole region that protects a mix of forests, meadows, and geological formations across rolling terrain. The landscape contains diverse habitats where visitors can encounter different plants and wildlife throughout the area.

The area saw intense conflict in the 1920s when the borders of the region were being decided between neighboring territories. A memorial was later built to commemorate these events and the people who were involved.

This site has served as a pilgrimage destination for centuries, with a network of chapels built during the 17th and 18th centuries. Visitors today walk the same paths that pilgrims have followed for generations to experience the spiritual character of the place.

The reserve is easy to explore on foot, with marked trails leading through different sections of the landscape. Several entry points and lodging options nearby make it accessible for visitors with varying needs and budgets.

Tucked within the reserve is an amphitheater built inside an old limestone quarry during the 1930s. This unexpected feature shows how the site blends its industrial past with natural surroundings.
