Klepáč observation tower, rozhledna na vrchu Klepáč v masivu Králického Sněžníku
The Wieża widokowa na Trójmorskim Wierchu is a wooden tower built on a peak over 3,600 feet (1,100 meters) high in the Sudeten Mountains, offering views across multiple mountain ranges. The structure allows visitors to see far into the distance toward three different countries and observe the valleys and forest-covered slopes below.
The wooden lookout and fire tower was built in December 2009 on Trójmorski Wierch, a 1145 m peak on the Polish-Czech border ridge in the Śnieżnik Massif. The municipality of Międzylesie commissioned it with European Union funding and opened it to tourists on 8 May 2010. Construction cost 164,972.40 zł, of which the EU contributed 109,815.62 zł.
The name Trójmorski Wierch refers to the three seas whose watersheds meet on this peak: the Baltic, the North Sea and the Black Sea. The wooden tower, opened on 8 May 2010, is a stop on the ridge trail along the Polish-Czech border, and hikers pass between the two countries here.
The tower is open to the public year-round and is best visited during daylight hours. Well-marked hiking trails lead to the summit and are manageable for most visitors on foot.
The tower stands on Trójmorski Wierch, a 1,145 m peak on the Polish-Czech border ridge between Puchacz and Jasień. Its name means "Three Seas Peak": the summit marks where waters part toward the Baltic, North Sea and Black Sea. The 25 m wooden structure was funded by the European Union, with the municipality of Międzylesie as investor.
