Formuła, Steel roller coaster in Energylandia, Poland

Formuła is a steel roller coaster at Energylandia that takes riders through a series of inversions and twists using launch technology. The ride features a white and red track that weaves through the park with sharp turns and loops designed to test riders' sense of balance.

The ride opened in 2016 as Poland's first coaster to use electromagnetic launch propulsion in this configuration. Its arrival represented a turning point in the country's amusement park technology.

The Formula 1 racing theme incorporated throughout the design reflects the growing interest in motorsports entertainment among Polish amusement park visitors.

The launch track sits inside a tunnel decorated with pit-stop figures, and smoke generators fire at launch. Two trains of four cars each seat 16 riders, so queues move in batches. The track is 560 metres long with three inversions, and the final brake run leads back to the station.

Formuła reaches 79.2 km/h in about two seconds thanks to its electromagnetic LSM launch, and the maximum vertical load is 3.8G. It was the first Space Warp Launch Coaster built by Vekoma; a second identical unit, begun in 2024 at Oriental Heritage in Zhongmu, China, remains closed.
