Pod Kogutkiem villa in Warsaw

Pod Kogutkiem villa is an early 20th-century residential building located on Junaków street in the Radość neighborhood. The house features balanced proportions and carefully crafted decorative details across its exterior.

The villa was built in 1912 and has defined the residential character of the area since then. It gained official protection as a registered monument in 2000 when it was entered into the Masovian Voivodeship heritage register.

The villa represents a period when Polish residential architecture integrated modern urban planning concepts with traditional building techniques and local materials.

The building is accessible by public transportation and located near major bus and tram lines. Daytime visits work best to see the exterior details clearly when light illuminates the facade.

The villa retains its original external design and represents one of the few surviving examples of residential architecture from this era in Radość. This makes it a rare witness to early villa architecture in this part of Warsaw.
