The Polish presidential residence on the Hel Peninsula is a large estate on Puck Bay that houses government buildings and official facilities. The grounds spread across extensive green spaces and include structures designed for state functions and diplomatic gatherings.
The site began as a leisure center called Mewa in the 1960s before being redesignated as the official presidential residence following major renovation work completed in 2003.
The residence received numerous international leaders, including King Juan Carlos of Spain, George W. Bush, and Angela Merkel for diplomatic meetings.
The property is closed to public visitors and functions only as an official government residence. From nearby coastal paths, you can see parts of the grounds from the perimeter.
During presidential stays, the Polish national flag flies prominently on the flagpole bridge, indicating the head of state's presence.
