Palace in Bojadła

The Palace in Bojadła is a manor house with baroque features standing on the right bank of the Oder River, marked by symmetrical rooms and regular proportions. The building is surrounded by a park and flanked by several outbuildings including guardhouses, a gardener's residence, and farm structures that form a complete estate complex.

Construction of the manor house began around 1700 and was substantially rebuilt and expanded by 1735 under the von Kottwitz family. These changes shaped the building's appearance as it stands today.

The building reflects how rural nobility of the 18th century expressed their status and lifestyle through architecture and landscape design. The rooms and surrounding grounds tell of a way of life that merged estate management with social standing.

You can explore the grounds on your own during a visit, and it is worth allowing enough time for the park and the various outbuildings. The site is set on flat terrain near the river, which makes walking around straightforward.
