Jewish cemetery, Jewish burial ground in Góra Kalwaria, Poland.
The cemetery spans 1.23 hectares between Zakalwaria, Budowlanych, and Wiejska Streets, containing 540 gravestones with Hebrew inscriptions and religious symbols.
Founded in 1802, the cemetery served the local Jewish population until World War II, when many gravestones were removed for construction in Soviet prisoner camps.
The cemetery includes a reconstructed brick ohel housing the remains of Rabbi Yitzhak Meir Rothenberg Alter, founder of the Ger Hasidic dynasty.
The site features a 2-meter high iron fence with a decorated gate from the local synagogue, installed by the Nissenbaum Family Foundation.
Of the 540 preserved tombstones, 360 remain standing, 80 lie flat, and 100 fragments are displayed on wooden panels throughout the grounds.
