Sanguszko Palace

Sanguszko Palace is a manor house in Tarnów combining neo-Baroque and neo-Renaissance design elements across its facade and interior. The spacious central hall and multi-part facade define the building's appearance, which now serves as an educational institution.

The property became headquarters for General Chelmicki and his cavalry division seeking refuge in autumn 1914. Russian forces withdrew from the site in 1915 to avoid military encirclement during the Gorlice-Tarnobrzeg Offensive.
