Clérigos Church

The church features a single nave constructed with granite and marble materials, complemented by detailed baroque carvings throughout its structure.

Construction of the religious complex started in 1732 under the guidance of Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni and reached completion in 1779.

The main chapel contains a polychromatic altarpiece by Manuel Porto, displaying the traditional Portuguese religious artistry of the eighteenth century.

Located at Rua de São Filipe de Nery, the church opens daily from 9 AM to 7 PM with access to both interior spaces and tower.

The structure includes a 75-meter-tall tower with 225 interior spiral steps leading to observation points overlooking Porto's historical center.
