The estate was organized in the 18th century by botanist Domingos Vandelli and belonged to the 3rd Marquis of Angeja before undergoing several transformations.
The National Theatre and Dance Museum operates within the quinta grounds, preserving Portuguese performing arts heritage through exhibitions and collections.
Visitors can access the quinta from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00, with separate entrance fees for the park and museum sections.
Ancient specimens of Araucaria, Sequoia, and Cupressus trees grow throughout the estate, while a boxwood garden stands near the Theatre Museum entrance.
