The Monteiro-Mor Botanical Park extends across 11 hectares with multiple terraces, featuring tall trees in the upper section and young trees in the lower area.
The garden originated in the 18th century when botanist Domingos Vandelli organized it under the supervision of the 3rd Marquis of Angeja at Quinta do Monteiro-Mor.
The park houses the National Costume Museum and National Theater Museum, offering visitors access to both natural and artistic collections in one location.
The park opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, remaining closed on Mondays, and provides contact information for additional details.
The garden contains numerous ancient specimens of Araucaria, Sequoia, Cupressus, Acacia, and Podocarpus, alongside a boxwood garden featuring a rose garden.
