Porto School of Architecture occupies ten connected pavilions arranged around a central plaza with views toward the Douro River. The buildings house design studios, research laboratories, exhibition spaces, and an extensive architectural library for student and faculty use.
The school grew from the School of Fine Arts and relocated to its current riverside location in 1992 with a completely redesigned building complex. This move marked a turning point that repositioned the institution as a leading center for architectural education in the region.
