Church of Saint Anthony of Padua in Arad

The Church of Saint Anthony of Padua features a main entrance with four columns topped by Corinthian capitals and a copy of Michelangelo's Pietà above.

The church, designed by architect Milan Tabaković, replaced an earlier Baroque structure and underwent construction from 1902 to 1904, with final consecration in 1911.

The interior contains a white marble altar with a painting by György Vastagh depicting Saint Anthony, while side altars display Baroque artworks from the previous church.

Located at Boulevard Revoluției 96A in Arad, the church measures 43 meters in length and 17 meters in width, with its dome reaching 56 meters.

The church houses a pipe organ constructed in 1905 that contains 40 stops and 1200 pipes, creating music throughout the building's vast interior space.
