Church of Saint Anthony of Padua in Arad

The Church of Saint Anthony of Padua is a Catholic place of worship in Arad, built in the early 1900s with a striking classical facade. The main entrance features four columns with Corinthian capitals supporting a reproduction of Michelangelo's Pietà sculpture above the doorway.

The church was designed by architect Milan Tabaković and replaced an earlier Baroque structure that stood on the site before. Construction took place between 1902 and 1904, with the formal consecration ceremony occurring several years after completion.
