Deutsch House, Oradea, Art Nouveau building in Oradea, Romania
The Deutsch House features a two-story facade adorned with floral motifs, semicircular ends, and a heart-shaped window in the trilobate pediment.
Between 1906 and 1910, architect Sztarill Ferenc designed this structure, which originally functioned as a shop for glassware, porcelain, and lamps.
The building underwent substantial reconstruction in the 1970s, with only the street-facing facade remaining from the original Art Nouveau structure.
Located at Vasile Alecsandri Street number 4, the building maintains its commercial function while standing as a protected historic monument.
The renovation process involved rebuilding the entire structure with reinforced concrete while preserving and restoring the decorative facade elements.
