Stadionul Delta

Stadionul Delta is a sports facility in Tulcea with a natural grass playing surface and stands that can hold approximately 12,000 spectators. The white and blue seating is arranged on concrete structures that define the venue's appearance.

The venue underwent multiple renovations between 2008 and 2016 and served as home ground for the Delta Tulcea football club. The team ceased operations and withdrew from competitions in 2019.

The venue served for many years as a gathering place where young athletes from the city came to train and compete. It held importance as more than just a sports facility, functioning as a social meeting point for the local community.

The stadium is located within the city and is easily accessible, though it is not currently active for sports use. The playing surface receives regular upkeep to maintain the condition of the grass field.

Behind the main stand sits a residential building that once housed the players during their time with the club. This living quarters was an integral part of the complex and shows how important the team was to the local area.
