Stadionul Francisc von Neuman, Football stadium in Arad, Romania.
Stadionul Francisc von Neuman is a modern football stadium in Arad with four separate stands accommodating around 12,500 spectators. The facility includes press areas, media centers, VIP hospitality areas, and an attached hotel.
The original stadium opened in 1946, but this completely new structure replaced it and was inaugurated in August 2020. The opening match featured UTA Arad playing at home in the top football division.
The stadium bears the name of a wealthy local Hungarian Jewish aristocrat who supported the founding of UTA Arad football club. His legacy remains part of the local sports identity today.
Access to the stadium is well organized with separate entrances for different spectator groups and ample parking nearby. Finding your way inside is straightforward, as the four stands are clearly marked and easy to navigate.
The design draws inspiration from Kirklees Stadium in Huddersfield, incorporating similar stand layouts and structural features. This international architectural reference is visible in how the facility is arranged today.
